Perfection Acquires Affinia’s
Aftermarket Clutch Hydraulic Business
TIMMONSVILLE, SC -- Release Date - December 3, 2008 -- Perfection (Timmonsville, SC), a Marmon Highway Technologies
– Berkshire Hathaway company has announced an agreement with
Affinia Group Inc (Ann Arbor, MI) to acquire the clutch
hydraulic business from Affinia’s Global Brake and Chassis
business unit. The two companies will be working together in the
coming months to finalize this transaction, and to insure a
smooth transition with Affinia’s customers and suppliers.
Jim Ott, President of Perfection said, “This transaction is good
for us, Affinia, and our customers. It provides Perfection with
a complete clutch system offering and it gives Affinia’s brake
and chassis people more time to spend on their core products”.
